You are organising Run Toruń on the 19th of April 2015. Can you tell us where your event is located and how runners are able to travel there easily?
Start and finish is located next to shopping center TORUŃ PLAZA (Poland, 90, Broniewskiego street in Toruń). The easiest is connection by tram or city bus from PKS (bus station) or PKP (train station).
Are there different distances in your event?
There are two distances to choose: 5 km and 10 km.
Tell us something about the history of your event. Why was it created in the first place and how has it changed over the years?
The first event was organized in 2012 - 650 runners finished the 10 km course. The next year, the number of runners increased by 30 percent (813 runners). Around 1300 runners participated in the latest edition of the event (increase by 60%!).
Describe your route a bit. How’s the scenery? Is the route beginner friendly? Can runners expect PB's?
The route is fast and flat - ideal for beating personal best records.
How many runners do you expect to have in your event?
2500 for both 5 km and 10 km distances.
What kind of weather conditions can runners prepare to face in your event?
It will be spring, about 15 degrees of Celsius. The day will is likely to be nice, without wind or rain.
What else should runners do in the city after/before the race? Any suggestions to newcomers?
Newcomers should visit the Old Town in Toruń - after or before the event. Toruń is on the UNESCO list.
How would you describe your event to people who haven't yet participated in it? What makes your event unique?
The event stands out with it's special medal, which presents a historical building of Toruń Old Town. The main motto is "Visit Toruń actively and healthily".

In the edition in 2015, there will additionally be organized competitions for children.
