The Hague Marathon - Peace Marathon

The third edition of The Hague Marathon will take place on Sunday 20th of September 2015. Around 1500 runners will take on the challenging course that shows all the beauty that The Hague has to offer - from the Peacepalace to the harbour, the beach, green parks and historic city centre!

Route description:

A runner described The Hague Marathon as "simply gorgeous and pretty darn challenging". And that's exactly our aim.

The course takes you from the historic city centre to the harbour and across the beach. Through beautiful green parks and the richest neigbourhood of the country the course takes runners back to the city centre to finish right next to the Houses of Parliament (Binnenhof) on the Plein.

The course for the half marathon contains about 3 km of sandy beach, the course of the marathon and ultramarathon contain about 11 km of sandy beach. The other parts of the course are paved or semi-paved with some elevation.

There is an aid station every ca 5 km with water, energy drink and bananas.

Dressing area and guarded luggage storage and toilets are available near the start area.
