Conquer the impressive fells nearby Levi on the 12 km Conquer of Kätkä route, on the 26 km Tour of Kätkä and Pyhä or 44 km Levi-Pyhä-Kätkä. Challenge your fellow competitors or enjoy Levi's magnificent nature.

Route description:

Levi-Pyhä-Kätkä 44 km
The tour of three fells Levi-Pyhä-Kätkä starts from Zero Point and heads first toward Utsuvaara. From here the route climbs up the Levi fell for the first time via Torajainen and Etelärinne. From the top, the runners continue down to the lower Gondoli lift station. The route then climbs up Levi Back and continues along the fell top back to Zero Point. After the tour on Levi, the runners head for the 26 km route of Pyhä-Kätkä.

The elevation gain along the entire route is 1550 metres.

Levi-Pyhä-Kätkä 26 km
The Kätkä-Pyhä tour will consist of soft ski tracks, rocky mountain trails, wider and easier paths, gravel roads, wet terrain, terrain of grass and mud, some technical parts, steps and tarmac on the first and last metres of the route.

The start and finish areas will bet on the Eturinne-slope in front of Zero Point. From the start the runners will head toward the well-known mountain stream of Merkkisenkaltio. From there the route will continue on the edge of Pyhä toward Pyhäjärvi where the terrain will be wetter. After this there will be a difficult ascent followed by a descent, which gives the runners the opportunity to recover their strength. Behind Pyhä, the route continues toward Kätkä fell and lean-to. The combined ascent is 2 km when the runners start the climb along Pyhätunturi toward the Kätkä lean-to.

From the Kätkä lean-to the route turns to the terrain between Kätkä and Pyhä fells climbing a gentle ascent, which is technically difficult to run. After the difficult ascent, the runners continue toward the top of Kätkä. On the way up the runners can enjoy a view of the surrounding environment. From the top, the route descends toward the finish line on an easier and wider mountain trail, which becomes more challenging toward the end. From the foot of the Kätkä fell the runners continue toward the centre of town and the finish line!

Kätkän Ylitys 12 km (Conquer of Kätkä)
The Conquer of Kätkä consists of soft ski trails, gravel roads, winding foot paths, rocky mountain trails, challenging descents and tarmac on the first and last metres of the route.

The start and finish areas will bet on the front slopes in front of Zero Point. From the start the runners will head toward Immeljärvi through the Levi centre. The route is run on tarmac until the foot of the Kätkä fell and from there on a gravel road along the Immeljärvi lake. The route becomes more ascending and the mountain trail wider and rockier on the edge of Kätkä. The distance to the top is not long (1,3 km), but it is technically challenging and steep. The route mainly follows a narrow and rocky mountain trail to the top.

From the top the route descends toward the finish line on a wider and easier mountain trail, which becomes more challenging toward the end. After the steep descent, the runners run on a ski track toward the centre. The last meters before the finish are run on tarmac through the Levi village. The finish is located at Zero Point.

Refreshment stations:

There are 4 refreshment stations along the 44 km route, 2 on the 26 km route and 1 on the 12 km route.
