For 2016, to celebrate its sixth year, Yeovil Half Marathon will start and finish in Yeovil Town Centre for the first time.
The town really gets behind the race with the route being lined with spectators, with spectator ‘Hot Spots’ having live music to keep the athletes motivated.
Celebrating its sixth anniversary in 2016, Yeovil Half Marathon has become one of the fastest growing Town based Half marathons in the South West. Start and Finish in Yeovil Town Centre. Closed roads around the town centre before heading along the entire length of Yeovil Country Park. The route then leaves the town on the western side to Montacute House, before returning on quiet country roads to the Town Centre finish in the Quedam Shopping Centre. The course is much flatter in profile than the previous route. A big Yeovil Town Centre finish atmosphere is assured.
