No other running event offers the same framing as the Midnight Run with the late start time, the arrangements around the course, the music and the party. Together with public support, you will receive a fantastic experience when you run the 10 K through Helsinki.
Start and finish of the race takes place at The Senate Square. The course will pass through the heart of Helsinki and measures 10 km. We also measure your 5 KM split-time.
There are 2 aid-stations serving sports drink and water on the Midnight Run course. After the run runners can help themselves to refreshments and fruit in the finish area.
In the Midnight Run Helsinki we have 11 starting groups. You make your own choice in which starting group you want to run in. Every starting group has an estimated running time and you place yourself according to the running time you can manage.

Take part in our Masquerade Competition! Midnight Run is a big party with lot of spectators. The spectators are coming to watch and cheer the runners. You as a runner can contribute to the good atmosphere by competing in Midnight Run Masquerade competition.

2012 edes kaatosade ei haitannut tunnelmaa, sillä juoksijoilla ja järjestäjillä tunnelma oli katossa! Matkalla oli bändejä soittamassa, komea ilotulitus sekä valoja ja musiikkia. Tänä vuonna ehdottomasti uudestaan! :)

Vuonna 2012 tuli ennen juoksun alkamista vettä kuin saavista kaatamalla, mikä hieman latisti tunnelmaa. Sade kuitenkin lakkasi ja juoksu vesilätäköistä huolimatta juoksuinto oli korkealla. Katsojia oli sateesta johtuen vähän, mutta tunnelma oli silti mukava. Reitti on kiva ja paremmalla säällä varmasti kaunis!

Hauska konsepti
Olen osallistunut kolme kertaa tapahtatumaan vuosina 2010, 2011 ja 2012, mutta tänä vuonna jäi valitettavasti väliin. Järjestelyt ja tapahtuma ovat menneet huimasti eteenpäin viime vuosien aikana. Konsepti on erittäin hauska ja tapahtumaa voin suositella kaikentasoisille juoksijoille :)!
