The sixth International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016. It will include several tracks – marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, competitive 5 km race, community 5 km race, 800 m community track and a handbike race for disabled participants.
This is one of Israel's largest marathons: 25,000 runners, amongst them – approximately 50 elite runners as well as numerous runners from abroad. The various tracks pass by fascinating historical sites that illuminate the 3,000 year history of Jerusalem – the holy city and Israel's capital. The Jerusalem Winner Marathon combines physical challenge with exquisite landscapes, fresh mountain air and unique culture and heritage sites such as the Israeli Knesset, Machane Yehuda Marketplace, Mount Scopus, the Old City, David's Tower, Haas Promenade and more. It is guaranteed to be a challenging, thrilling and unforgettable experience for all runners.
