The OPAP Limassol International Marathon GSO is the official Marathon of Cyprus, and the island's largest sports event!

With more than 10,000 runners participating, in 5 different races, the OPAP Limassol International Marathon GSO offers a complete Marathon experience!

Route description:

The flat nature of the route is optimal for newly introduced members of the Marathon community, as well as for professionals who want to improve their personal times.

The route follows Limassol's Mediterranean coastline, offering a challenging but beautiful course for you to reach and exceed your personal record.

Refreshment stations:

Mineral water will be provided to all participants at the start and the finish area as well as approximately every 2.5 Km along the course and between stations (Km 7.5 – 12.5 – 17.5 – 22.5 – 27.5 – 32.5 – 37.5), there will also be wet sponges for refreshing.

From 5 km onwards, the athletes can place personal refreshments and supplements at existing stops every 5 Km. At the stops Km 5, Km 10, Km 15, Km 20, Km 25, Km 30, Km 35, Km 40 as well as at the finish line, isotonic drinks will be provided. Personal drinks will be placed on the very first tables of the afore-mentioned stations.

Our special packages for the 10th OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO Anniversary apply to the first 500 runners (for each race) or until the 31st of January 2016. You can purchase a basic t-shirt of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO (Short sleeve – polyester) for 9.90 euro or the Pro T-Shirt of OPAP Limassol Marathon (Short sleeve or Vest - 100% Polyester) for 19.90 euro at the registration.

*Distribution takes place on Friday the 8th April and will end on Saturday the 9th April at Cyprus ports authority parking, Molos, Limassol

Please Note:

We only issue refunds if we cancel the event. We do not issue refunds under any other circumstance.
But we do postpone your registration to next year in case of sickness or injury with a prior notice of 5 days in advance before the race day.

GREAT MARATHON EXPERIENCE

The route was beautiful. Despite its flat nature, it was very challenging and demanded a significant degree of focus and determination to finish. Overall it was a great experience, from the buzzing beginning, to the cheerful end.
